The weather is cold and gray, I am sick with a bad cough and there is very sad news from Sis’ family.  Her mother-in-law dropped dead in her garden in last night.

I was indeed and they were delicious! That and clam strips as thick as my finger

oooh… I haven’t had clam strips in ages… need to get me some. The table next to us at CK Pearl on Thursday had them and it was all I could do not to reach over and grab a forkful.

I am plotting to send Hubby out to Court House Seafood across the river to get me a plate of them.  I adore it when they’re crispy and meaty.

They may be my favorites. Used to be a little place in our hometown that served clam boats at the top of the hill. They were so good. Been in love with them ever since.  I try not to eat fried food but make an exception for these

She’s good. Helping my kid do a shower for her friend today which brought us to the beach. Heading to NY in a couple weeks for our wedding anniversary and to celebrate my birthday Woo Hoo!
