Hubby and I adventured to the South Shore last night to try a fancy restaurant down there – the Scarlet Oak Tavern in Hingham – to kick off my birthday celebrations. I sat in their lovely Colonial dining room thinking of you. MMMMM

Hi Sassy,
The day was uneventful here. It was warm but yesterday went well into the wee hours so it was kind of quiet around the house today. I took the opportunity to do some research.
Sounds like you had a great meal. Yesterday, we cooked up some marvelous steak with portabello mushrooms and gorgonzola cheese. Steak is a rarity here so it was thoroughly enjoyed.
