Big Papi made it to MGH about 10:30 PM!  I am so relieved.  

‘Big Papi’ David Ortiz lands in Boston on medical flight, escorted to Mass General

“Retired Red Sox slugger David Ortiz has been transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after his medical flight landed at Logan International Airport on Monday night.

“Big Papi” took an air ambulance from the Dominican Republic, where he was shot on Sunday night. Red Sox officials sent the plane so Ortiz could be brought to Mass General for further treatment.”

It’s an odd little scrap of white paper with a few cryptic words scrawled in haste… the directions sitting on my desk. They point me south but won’t get me to you right now…but they may in the future.

They taunt me with their simplicity in the confluence of impossibility.

They preach patience while frustrating me with the unknown time to wait.

There is a promise in them – of possibilities and pleasure, of laughter and sighs. and long-awaited satisfaction.

They take me one step closer to the day I will tuck them into my pocket and drive off to see your smile.

Big Papi heading to Mass General Hospital!  The Red Sox sent a plane to get David Ortiz from the hospital in the Dominican Republic, where he was shot on Sunday night!  I am praying so hard for this man.

Hiya Brett! Hope your June is off to a grand start and you got to enjoy this beautiful weekend!!

I heard “Another Brick in the Wall” on the radio this morning while I was in the shower and indulged in a few minutes of remembering you grooving to it!

10 working days to go! I finished transferring everything off the work laptop I’ve used at home and Hubby wiped it yesterday, so I can turn it in without worrying about what they’ll find. Heh. Leaving is getting quite real – my exit interview with HR is scheduled and the office is taking me to the fanciest hotel in town to Henrietta’s Table for my farewell lunch.

Been a wacky week for my community projects – I helped for two nights on the main project, and got talked into helping on another one tonight! Fun to see people!

I’ve been doing wild things with my vibrators… I tried 4 at once last weekend! Bit of a 4-ring circus so I shifted back to one pretty quickly, but it was fun to explore and think about how you would’ve reacted to all that and helped out!

Hugs with groping and a neck nibble!

Hiya Hot Stuff!

Hope you’re rocking this Sunday! It is a gorgeous day here – my balcony door is open!

10 more work days until I retire! When summer comes in, I go out! It’s getting real – HR has scheduled my exit interview (do I tell them about my evil boss?) and they’re taking me to the fanciest hotel in town for my farewell lunch at Henrietta’s Table. I’ve been balancing the craziness of getting the usual done at work with the transition tasks… whee.

My community project is busy this week – helped two events. So fun to see so many people!

A new Thai restaurant in Cambridge – we went a bit nuts trying different dishes 3 nights in a row! It made Eater Boston’s Heatmap for June, so everyone knows about it now. 9Zaab Thai Street Food is cheap, fast and good! I adore a good chicken yellow curry.

Glad to hear my bodacious body can help your pleasure along. I was just lying in bed with a well-positioned toy, imagining you kissing me up and down and around while your fingers find those spots guaranteed to drive me wild! Thank you for providing fuel for my fantasies! Here’s to making them an even better reality!

Huge parade in Boston today! They’re marking the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riot that many credit with starting the movement. I have wonderful memories of marching and celebrating with our church group back when it was a radical thing.

On Saturday 8th June, Lucy Glitters, The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery lead charger, will ride down The Mall at the head of the Queen’s Birthday Parade for the final time. She will be ridden by the current Commanding Officer Major Harry Wallace. It’s fate this will be their final ride together, as she was the first horse he rode when he joined The Troop in 2007, and the last he will ride before they both leave The Troop after The Queen’s Birthday Parade. Lucy Glitters is retiring, Major Wallace is posted to 3 Commando Brigade in Plymouth.
