Thanks for checking on me.  Sorry it has taken me so long to reply but these are dark days.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get my surgery this past summer. Other health issues intervened — there is no way to put it easily — I was diagnosed with aggressive Stage IV cancer and have been getting treatment all summer. I veer from trying to be stoic, to just trying not to cry. It is very rough times!
