Re: Friday thoughts
Hiya Thad!
My day was wacky! Everyone was out except the new boss and me, and she pestered me over and over while I was trying to do the payroll. Bleh.
Quick question – are you allergic to cats?
Thank you ever so much for sending me your schedule! That was super helpful. I can not wait anymore so I’m going to say Monday. I have a couple ideas for places – depends on what time and where you’d be safe, and whether I need to think of parking for you? Let me toss out some ideas and see if any of them make sense to you.
Lunch time 12 noon – sushi? Indian buffet? Chowder at Legal?
What’s your timing for late afternoon? I’m in meetings until about 3 pm but could leave and get somewhere after that. Late afternoon drink at a pub? Late afternoon drink/cheap apps at PF Chang’s in the Mall near the T? They have a big garage if you need parking.
Or feel free to suggest somewhere else where no one you know goes. With the week I’ve had, my brain is not functioning at its best.
Tongues? Oh yeah… we can definitely have fun with those! If if if… *sigh. I am hoping we click. Please please please.

Subject: Monday thoughts!!!!
Dear Sassy
Sorry you’ve had a wacky day with a new boss! I know what that can be like. My condolences!
No, I am not allergic to cats. My mother was allergic to cats (or maybe just afraid of them) so we never had cats when I was growing up. We were a dog family (still are). But my wife’s family was (and is) a cat family. So, we have a blended marriage!
Actually just last week we adopted a rescue kitten. She is a total cutie! We also have a large dog, and the two of them are working out a cordial engagement. Still a bit stand-offish, but not hostile. I think they will do fine together!
I am delighted to hear back from you this evening! In the past week I’ve gotten so used to getting your Sassy, saucy morning messages that I wondered this morning that I hadn’t heard from you! Had I said the wrong thing? ;>}
So, I am head over heels happy to hear that you would like to get together on Monday! Honestly, I can’t imagine anything I would rather do ANY day!
I really love your last paragraph… “If if if… *sigh. I am hoping we click. Please please please.” – ME TOO!
Clicking. I think we are pretty close to clicked (which is a longer way of writing licked :>)). That is, we are both mature adults who know that we are not going to be looking at each other to be hot body teenagers. We both have lots of sexual experiences we will draw upon and share. And at this stage of our lives, we probably both understand that the sexiest parts of our bodies are our brains.
Everything else is just logistics! (and we’ll have to work that out over the weekend)
Can’t wait to meet. And kiss and cuddle and fondle and grope. Maybe not all on our first date, but pretty damned soon!!!!
Thad, enthralled!

Hiya Thad,
My goodness you sound absolutely bouncy! That’s wicked cute. Enthralled is such a wonderful word.
So glad you can deal with a cat lady. One poor fellow spent the entire first meet… well… I had to nickname him Sneezy. *sigh I hope you’ll let me see photos of your new kitty when we meet? I’ll show off my kitties and explain their names when I see you.
I am so sorry I didn’t write this morning! I never want you to worry!! I got up late and was late to work and then the boss pounced and… nothing to do with you. I am very familiar with the “What did I say?!” syndrome.
Thank you for your level-headed appraisal of where we stand, how we’ll deal. That was quite calming. I wish chemistry wasn’t so unpredictable. We have had a great discovery phase, so I am much less terrified than usual that I will lose your excellent correspondence to the fickle chemistry monster.
Hubby was out this evening and it was all I could do not to ask you to come over here. So I fantasized about it… naughty Sassy. Let’s just say we made good use of my king size bed. And a kitchen counter. And the shower. And the balcony. Ha!
I’d better get to bed… but I don’t want to let go of our connection. When I’m writing to you or reading your words, I feel more alive than I have in a long time.
Sleep well, be careful crossing the street, eat your veggies… until I can hug you!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Lots to fall asleep with. Actually I did fall asleep but just woke up to turn off lights etc. :>)
Anytime you want to invite me over, I’m game. Shower and king sized bed are inviting. Never tried a kitchen counter, but with you . . . anything (anywhere)!
Sweet, wet dreams!
