Older than we thought

I’m home with Hubby today.  He needs help with EVERYTHING.  *sigh

He managed to sleep pretty well in the recliner!  Luckily the nerve block is still holding the pain at bay.  We’ll see what happens when that wears off.

Hospital buffet

Good morning!  Waiting at the hospital.

Hubby is having rotator cuff shoulder surgery in an hour

I feel like a huge weight is about to drop on me

Yup, had friends go through that. 
Lot of pain and very limited abilities for the first few weeks

They let me sit with him in the prep area.  They’re taking him now.  Pray please!

Nothing like a breakfast buffet @ a Hospital cafeteria with a grill!  This ought to help me pass the time.

Cooked-to-order fried egg over easy with corned beef hash, bacon, sausage, 
OJ, water and hot chocolate!

Surgery went well. Hubby is awake. I’m sitting with him in recovery.  Hubby is smiling, because painkillers.

Hubby is home from the hospital! His cat is his nurse for now.  They’re cuddling in the recliner.

He is still smiling, because painkillers.

Now the really fun part of my week begins.  *sigh

Twist and shout

Just to make life even more interesting, I twisted my knee and can’t walk.  It doesn’t hurt exactly, just feels like it won’t bear any weight and is going to crumble.

Nurse Practitioner says muscle sprain, go ahead and walk, stretch it.  So I’m going on to the new office.

Flat tire

Hubby and his gf are dealing with the tire… that may be a sign of the apocalypse.  He not only called AAA, he is using his date time with her to go to NTSB and get it fixed!

Hope your week is off to a grand start.  
What do you think of when you anticipate?  Your hands are high on my list… touching my skin.  Mmm… 
This week is nuts… I’m pulled in five directions!  My office is moving tomorrow, I have a dr’s appt that may change my medicines, my mom is coming home from rehab Wednesday, then my husband has shoulder surgery on Thursday!  I could devote most of my brain to any of those… but I’d rather think about you.  
I should be much calmer next week if you end up having time.  A long hug could be just the thing!

Lot of snow in DC. Light rain here. 
I’m at the gym and then off to help with a home improvement project

Great to know!  I’m off to see Mom in rehab, hoping to get back before the snow flies.  They’re saying maybe 3 inches for Boston.

I took Mom her favorite pizza from Andrina’s for lunch.  She was so happy to have real food from the outside world that she could eat with one hand!

I got my hair cut.  I try to do it once a year weather it needs it or not.

The snow is really coming down now!

The National Weather Service just doubled the snowfall forecast.  Whee!
