Check in

Monday, December 19
8:19am
Phil: Good morning. Slow day today but lot of cats and dogs before heading home. Had a nice weekend. Football sucked but otherwise ok. Weather is cool but not bad. Not expecting any snow. Looking forward to Christmas, all of us together is nice. Chance to take some family photos. Cousin about my age thinking marriage. First time.  My brother is having real health issues. Glad to be going home. Hope your day is good
11:12am
Good morning!  Cold start in the 20s but headed to 45.  Sun is shining, feeling great!  Progress – Hubby got up and showered and went out to work at the coffee house!  Office is quiet.  Trying to get ahead on January conference tasks.  Have a great Monday!
12:06pm
Wow… big doings with the men-folk in your family!  Has your cousin known his intended long?  What’s going on with Tommy? Can they fix him?  I will pray for them both.  I’ve done all my work… looking for something else to do.  Any suggestions?
2:52pm
Phil: My brother has [disease]. Hitting him hard lately. My cousin has known this young lady for many years.
3:55pm
Had you heard of that disease before?  I had to look it up.  Sounds like it can be managed if he has good care… hope so!
Our organist married after years with a guy, and they broke up 6 months later!  Eek.  Luckily, she is married again, with twins!
Do you like your cousin’s lady?  Think his marriage is a good idea?  I’m fascinated when people who’ve known each other suddenly consider marrying.  It usually means a great party!
How are things going with Sally and you? She’s smiling more in the photos.…
5:21pm
Phil: No, had to look it up too. I like my cousin’s gal, good for him. He is where he wants something permanent. Sally likes it here, likes the people. She does not work so life is good. She likes volunteering. We get along well, always did till she got nasty a few years back. Much easier to be around now. No romance, sedate old married couple, that sucks.
6:32pm
Phil: This spelling help function sucks. Sorry, screws up my words
7:17pm
No worries.  I get it most of the time… I just got it on my new computer… had not understood for years what people were on about but now I do!
7:27pm
Phil: LOL
7:31pm
Since I’m being all nosy, how are we doing?  Now and then I feel like I should remind you that even if you’re not used to being able to say what you want, you can do it with me. You can tell me anytime, or not say if you’d rather not.  But here’s a chance to mouth off good or bad… I sometimes find I’ve been arguing with you in my head or thinking wonderful things and not getting around to saying them, and that’s not fair and when I just come out with it, you are very nice about it!

Catching up

Saturday, December 17
9:58am
Good morning!  36 cloudy!  Hope you have a great Saturday!
10:31am
Phil: You too girl.  Snowing here. Yippee! Neighborhood party tonight.  Great time!
11:10am
Hiya, kid. Your house looks so festive in the snow!  And main buildings are so majestic.  Off to help mom stuff envelopes for her Christmas letters!

7:08pm
Had a fun dinner out at Christopher’s with a gal pal.  So good that the holidays make people remember to get together and catch-up!  You know I always think of you when I have a yummy crock of clam chowder.  The fried pickle sticks were good, too.  But the chocolate chip bread pudding was the best!

FFF – Discovery

He scared me when I met him at the base Christmas party – tall, sexy and in charge – but I didn’t let on.  I listened intently to his questions, even winked when he asked me my favorite breakfast place.  I replied, “In bed!” He chuckled.
I didn’t see him again until July 4th, but he remembered me, said my name as my husband and I mingled at the command barbecue.  He whispered, “Breakfast tomorrow?”  I knew we were not talking pancakes.
We met every Thursday morning – I’d drop my husband at HQ, park behind the exchange, walk to big house, undress and wake him in the best way possible.  He taught me about my body and his body and what to do to make us soar.  He only had an hour but we made excellent use of it!
Today there was a strange car in his driveway and I almost didn’t go in.  But he had sent the usual text, “Waffles.”  And I wasn’t early.  So I undressed, turned the corner and made an interesting discovery… another woman was buttering his toast!  I wanted to bolt but I couldn’t take my eyes off his beautiful backside!  I was too shy to join them but I pleasured myself while they finished.  He turned and held out his hand.

Christmas plans

Friday, December 16
8:27am
Good morning!  Good weather?  47 clear, into the 50s later.  TGIF!
2:36pm
Phil: Good day – got everything done!  I am bushed at this point but pleased.
2:37pm
Yay!
2:40pm
Phil:  It’s a ghost town.
2:47pm
People are still around until Tuesday… but after that we can definitely tell the difference.  Nice to have less traffic, empty elevators… but I miss them in the office.
3:13pm
Phil: I already miss them. It’s a nice break for the staff though. This is the most rewarding experience I have ever had. I’ll see my kids at Christmas and then the rest of my family and I am so excited.
3:42pm
Can you rest soon or is there more to do?
3:44pm
Phil: I have admin I want to catch up on and then a series of meetings next week. Head out on Thursday. After that I believe I am pretty much off which is wonderful.
3:47pm
Isn’t it lovely when the end is in sight?  I work Mon/Tues, off Wed. (annual mammogram at MGH, which seems more serious this year), work Th afternoon to do payroll, then off until Jan 3.
3:59pm
So wish you could make a side trip to Boston… eat some…lobster.
4:09pm
Phil: Not this trip. Got family in the car and a hell of a long way to drive.
4:21pm
I know… doesn’t keep me from wishing… and thinking about what it would be like to hear you laugh, see you smile…
4:37pm
Phil: Gonna fill up on seafood at the beach though.  Not as good as Lobster of course. That little place we found last time is still a favorite.  I just loved the place and of course that amazing place in Boston.  What a fabulous meal and evening.
4:42pm
You staying with your family?
5:19pm
Phil: Yes. That’s going to be interesting.  I’m making a turkey, and all the trimmings for Christmas dinner. Gonna watch lots of football. Worried about snow though.
8:53pm
It’s so wonderful to hear you so happy in your job… such a change from last year when you were so glad to see D.C. in the rear view mirror!  and your Christmas plan sounds great! You are so lucky to be doing great work, and be where you want to be, doing what you want to do on Christmas!  No one deserves it more than you!
9:46pm
Tough week – nice to think of lobster and you.  Hubby’s in bad shape, saw 2 docs and a therapist.. no answers, trying new anti-depressant but they don’t hold out much hope it will change anything.  I don’t know what more to do… praying hard.   Weepy and scared, but trying to snap out of it.  Don’t worry – I always do!  Sleep well, sweet man.
11:55pm
Phil: I am so sorry to hear that. I will remember to pray for you. Have only dealt with friends with minor depression. Has to be very hard. So sorry you are going through this.

December memories

Thursday, December 15
1:31pm
Hiya!  We’re back to “we get the weather you had yesterday” routine.  Gray here, 43, but rain and warmer tomorrow.  Very quiet, dare I say BORING, in the office.  People are finishing up their work, leaving Friday or Monday.  What do you plan to change in the house?  Hope your admin is rolling along.
3:46pm
My brain is stuck on memories of this day last December. It starts w/special moments on a frigid night – talks, chowder, lobster, a hot man’s cock in my mouth. And then my body is reacting.  My hands stray below my desk.  And suddenly you are here in the dark and I’m on my desk.. longing for you to tell me what happens next.
11:30 pm
Hiya.
You okay?
11:40pm
Phil: Hey! Busy, work. Doing fine
11:40pm
Cool.  Thanks.
2:31am
Phil: Very busy time.  Exhausting but rewarding. Nite girl

Mysteries

Week 18
Wednesday, December 14
8:03am
Phil: Wet morning but warm but the bottom is going to drop and then we are gonna be in for it.

Ton of Admin today! Yuck! People are taking off for two weeks on Friday.  That’s gonna be a long day but then some relief. Gotta clean up the house and get ready to head to the beach for a few days and then up to NY to see family and back to CHI for New Years.  Lot of driving in a week’s time but be nice to see everyone and will be a nice break from here.

Almost no booze. See the weight loss in my face and belly first. Pants getting looser, less jowly in the face. I am determined to get to my lowest weight and stay there. That puts me at about a xx inch waist. Going for a long, lean look rather than the bulkier muscle look. Wind sprints are kicking my ass but I love that burn in my lungs and muscles.

Boat load of my favorite authors have books coming out this month. Can’t wait. I love to read. I like mysteries that deal with world wide stuff. Like books where much of the action happens in Europe, cloak and dagger type stuff I guess. Love Stuart Woords, Jack Higgens, Ludlum, DeMille, Clive Cussler, Paul Christopher. Easy to lose yourself in a book.

Ah well, off to my admin. Have a great day!

Blog Chain: Holiday Sex

Hello Readers!

It’s time for a brief break from the Philip & Sassy Long Distance Romance for the seventh round of Prowling With Kat‘s Blog Chain, a delightful monthly exercise in posting on the same topic with a bunch of sexy bloggers.  For December we are posting about “Holiday Sex.”

I am whole and cancer-free now, but two years ago, I was staring 8 months of cancer treatments in the face, prepping for surgery in late December, chemo February-May and daily radiation treatments over the entire summer.  I didn’t know what all that would mean.  I was taking it one day at a time, trying not to freak out over the what-ifs… but wishing for a way to stop thinking about it for a little while.

I told Philip he could go away… he had not signed up to deal with a lady with cancer.  He made it clear he was with me for the long haul one night that December by coming to see me!  He asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I replied, “You.”  I got my wish!  Read the seven posts about our second visit starting here or go straight to the sexy part here.  We only had eight hours together but it was the best Christmas present I’ve ever gotten!
