Hiya Reggie! What’re you up to today? Hope you are having fun.
I was just thinking of you, going over our delightful conversation yesterday. I keep thinking we’ll run out of topics but the more we talk, the more I am curious about you. I thought of about 10 new questions!
Last night was fantastic! Hubby and I went to Uno’s Pizzeria on Huntington for a casual dinner, then strolled over the Symphony Hall for an evening with Andy Borowitz! It was so wonderful to be in a hall full of Democrats, to laugh and be energized by his satire! He talked for 30 minutes, was interviewed by the local PBS station journalist for 30 minutes, then took questions for 30 minutes. I was amazed at his brilliance, his sense of humor, his ability to work the crowd and answer on the fly in a kind, intense way.
I read up on his life – he went to Harvard, president of the Lampoon, then off to Hollywood to write for TV including creating “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.” Writing books, acting in movies, doing stand-up and writing for the New Yorker, now with a Facebook page he posts to EVERY DAY with biting, slapping and kicking at Trump and his evil minions. Wow.
Today is quiet. I’ve made the long trek (okay, maybe 20 feet) from my bed to my desk. Heh. So nice after the wacky week I’ve had.
I am going back to bed soon to nap… or maybe play with a toy!
Think of your hands on my chest? I should warn you I have 5 tiny round blue tattoos thanks to the Radiation Oncology Department at MGH. The technician said they look like The Earth… from very far away! They used them to position the huge radiation machine during my treatment. Maybe you can play connect the dots! Mwah!
